In 1996, the areas surrounding the restaurant, including the future site of the Westhill Estate home, were overgrown with wild roses, shrubs, grasses and trees. And during the rainy season, these low-lying areas remained extremely swampy and almost inaccessible.

Each year, with lots of patience and determination, the areas were cleared and topped up with soil and rocks. Then, the ideas and dreams turned into reality with the construction of the Westhill Estate home and its surrounding gardens filled with annuals, perennials, fruit trees, ponds and bridges.

Spend time with us and enjoy the beauty of the Westhill Gardens in an informal and peaceful setting.

Spring always comes in a dramatic fashion. Crocuses are the first to appear, followed by Daffodils, Tulips, and Rhododendrons. Each summer the Rose and Clematis Garden bursts forth with colour and fragrance. In the perennial garden, well known and rare perennials are blended together with annuals to create the cottage garden effect and a parade of colours. The hues and tones of this kaleidoscope change daily as the never ending procession of perennial flowers continue to blossom as the garden moves towards autumn.
